Below is information regarding our birthday party packages, rooms, rates, procedures & frequently asked questions. If you are ready to book your birthday party – please click on the blue button at the middle of this page “Click Here to Book Your Party Now” to lock in your room, date and time.
If you would like to tour of facility first – we ONLY do tours inquiring about birthday parties Monday – Friday from 11:30am – 5pm. If you would like to tour our facility you will still be required to sign a waiver prior to entry. We do not do tours on the weekends as our party rooms are booked out and we don’t want to disturb our parents & guests on their special day.
We have 2 birthday party rooms at every location. Both rooms are exactly the same size; almost 500 square feet each. The only difference is the custom artwork done on the back wall. Pictures of the rooms can be seen below.
You can book a party from the following 3 time slot options only: 10am – 12pm, 1pm – 3pm or 4pm – 6pm. It is 2 hours in length and costs:
$425.00 Monday – Thursday for up to 40 guests.
$450.00 Friday – Sunday for up to 40 guests.
Additional guests over 40 can be added for $10 per person. Each room has a maximum capacity of 55 guests. See more information below.
Currently we do NOT have birthday party packages for smaller guest counts at lower prices.

The party packages do NOT include food, birthday party decorations or setup items (plates, cups, etc). You can use any outside food caterer for your party you wish to. We will provide you with a list of vendors within our area when you book your room. We do not charge you service fees or outside food fees for your party like many birthday places do or make you buy their pizzas or food. We want you happy with your food selections – so use whomever you like. You can bring in your own decorations and set up. More information regarding decorations & set up can be found below.
You book your party online and it will require you to put 1/2 the value of your party as a deposit in order to hold and lock the room for your party. KEEP IN MIND: that 50% deposit is NONREFUNDABLE & NONTRANSFERABLE. If you need to move your party date or time we can do that however it is dependent on if the new date and time is available and not booked by another person; however you lose your deposit and a new deposit will have to be placed. Cancelled parties, payments or deposits can not and will not be transferred to open play admission. Make sure you are positive about the date you book and make sure to check if your date falls on a holiday or special event (ex: Super Bowl, Easter Sunday, etc). Please remember, once you book your room it is non refundable & non transferable for any reason, regardless of special day, holiday, etc.
So please make sure you are absolutely sure about the date & time you wish to reserve; because regardless of the reason the deposit will not be refunded and a new one will be necessary to change a date or time. The rooms are booked on a first come – first served basis. Once you make the deposit the room is locked for that date and time specifically for your event; so no other patron who wants that date & time can take it.
Every person booking a birthday party is REQUIRED to complete the Birthday Party Service agreement. Click on the PDF Image/Link to see what a Birthday Party Service Agreement looks like. Read this agreement before you book your party with We Play Loud. If you book your party without agreeing to the terms and decide to cancel; your deposit will NOT be refunded. You will be required to print, read, sign and initial your agreement and have it sent back to us no later than 72 hours after you book your party on our online system. You can drop it off to our facility , you can scan and email it to: firstname.lastname@example.org or you can fax it back to 888 750 2892.
When you click on the blue button above “Click Here to Book Your Party Now” it will take you to a calendar. Simply select the date you are looking for. It will then only show you the birthday rooms and time slots that are available. It will show a 10:00am (for the 10am – 12pm time slot), a 1:00pm (for the 1pm – 3pm time slot) & a 4:00pm (for the 4:00pm – 6:00pm time slot).
Once you select your party date, time and room just follow the steps. If you start the process, stop for a little while or check another date and go back and forth the system may say the time slot you were originally trying to book isn’t available. It does this so no 2 parties book over each other at the same time. If you looked at a date, then checked another date, give the system 15 minutes to refresh itself and the room may then be available again to book. After 15 minutes, if it’s still not available it means someone did book it ahead of you. Always be sure to refresh your internet browser as well.
Remember you, your spouse and your child(ren) do not count towards the 40 person guest count; so it’s a true 40 person guest list. Grandparents count as a guest, each adult counts as an individual guest and ONLY infants that are in a carrier the ENTIRE time of the facility are not considered a guest towards your guest count.
You can bring in outside food or have food delivered for you party. When you book your party we will send you a vendor list of local caterers around the area; but again you are more than welcome to use any outside food vendor you like for your party.
We have a 50” television in the birthday room if you would like to play pictures of your child or a movie during the birthday party. Please burn the pictures on a DVD ONLY (DO NOT USE A BLUERAY DVD). Make sure after you burn your pictures on your DVD it works on your home DVD player so that you correctly burned it on the right format. The television does not have access to cable or tv stations. Your party host will help you set up everything. You are not to touch our flat screen mounted televisions – any damage by you touching the televisions will be recovered financially by you at the end of the party.
We Play Loud’s indoor playground is for children 51 inches and below. 51 inches is the national average for an 8 year old. If you have any older or taller children attending your group/party they WILL be permitted into the facility HOWEVER they will be treated as an adult. Adults are ONLY permitted to play in the bounce house, go up & down the 4 person slide and play in the 1st floor foam ball area. All other rides and play areas are strictly prohibited. Any adults or larger children not playing safely around our smaller children/guests will be asked to leave without any refund.
If you booked a birthday party at We Play Loud and have relatives and guests with older children – these rules still apply. Any guests of your birthday party that do not abide by these rules will be immediately removed from the facility. The safety of our children/guests is our number #1 concern.
We also have a fully gated toddler area that is for children less than 3 years of age. If your child is 3 or older they will not be permitted under any circumstance to play in this area; regardless of medical condition, handicap, etc. – these age rules do not discriminate and apply to EVERYONE and protect the safety of the children.

There is also a Bose WIFI speaker for music as well for your party that you can bluetooth your music onto. Your party host is going to be devoted to you the entire length of your party. You can have your party host run the show or do exactly what you wish; or a combination.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks for your party as there is no service charge. You can use any vendor you wish and have them deliver right to our facility.
Items you are going to need to bring are below. If you forget to bring cake cutters, utensils, etc. We Play Loud has many of these items and we can provide you during your party at an additional cost.
1. Table Clothes – *They are REQUIRED [Tables are 69 inches long by 39 inches wide]
A standard rectangular tablecloth will work. You need to bring with you 6 if you are having a party at Lake Forest or 7 if you are having a party at Huntington Beach based on how we have the party room tables laid out.

*We do not sell or provide ice at this time. We have silver contemporary style ice bins should you forget to bring your own. They can be rented for $10.00 each.
We have commercial grade refrigerators and freezers to store items such as drinks and birthday cakes; simply tell your party host the day you arrive for your party what items you would like stored in our refrigerator or freezer until you are ready to serve them in your party room. You CAN NOT drop off food, beverages, ice cream or birthday cakes prior to your party date! We would love to provide this service to consumers but we our located in a retail center and if power goes out to our facility at night when we are not there – we do not want to be responsible for any spoiled or damaged food. You can bring all your food, beverages and cake items the day of your party. If you are having food vendors deliver items to your party – you can ONLY have them delivered to our facility the day of your party and only during the hours of your party. So if you party is from 1pm – 3pm, between that time your caterer or vendors can drop off the food; not before and not after. You must be present to sign for any food delivering as We Play Loud will NOT sign off on any food vendors that deliver on your behalf. We do not have microwaves or ovens at our facility to keep food warm. You can bring warmers, sternos and crockpots if you like for your party.
You are allowed to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before you birthday party start time. You will see a “Reserved” parking sign with your child’s name on it. Please park there. Your party host will see you parking in your spot and meet you out there to help you bring in all your items. They will introduce themselves and show you their checklist of items. They will help you decorate as well, this way your party is ready to go during your party start time.
Please remember ONLY you, your spouse, your children & grandparents are allowed to come 30 minutes earlier to the start time of your party to help with setup. Aunts, uncles, friends and other relatives will not be permitted. Your party host will be with you during that 30 minutes to help setup everything for you – we have done some pretty elaborate parties; so you are in good hands. Your guests will be checked in no earlier than the start time of your birthday party. For example if you have a 10am – 12pm birthday party. You are allowed to arrive at 9:30am (30 minutes before we open). Your children can be playing on the equipment and having fun while we set up your birthday room; but NO GUESTS will be allowed to enter the facility until your party start time of 10:00am.
You are NOT required to send us a guest list. We Play Loud will count and write down the names of your guests as they arrive for your party. They will get a special colored and numbered wrist band that easily identifies your guests in your party. It is important to read below the occupancy requirements allowed when booking a birthday room below. If you do provide We Play Loud a guest list it is always appreciated but we will always write down our own guest list as well with numbered bracelets to ensure the guest count is accurate.
Please remember the facility is not privately booked. The public will still be able to attend “open play” at our facility. Thankfully We Play Loud is rather large (12,000 square feet) so having enough space shouldn’t be a problem. Plus your party host will gather the children up when it is time to get them into the party room. Also remember the party room is mainly for the children. Not all adults will be able to fit in the party room. We have bench seating for adults in the party room and right outside the party room as well. Plus your guests can use the cafe area seating as well.
Rule of thumb – The birthday party room comfortably seats 26 children & about 15 – 20 adults on the bench seating. Right outside the party room is more bench seating for another 12 adults….plus again there is the cafe area as well.
Here’s another common question: Can I book a joint party? – in other words; can you split the cost of a birthday party package with another Parent/family. So there would be 2 birthday children and 2 birthday families. Yes, you absolutely can do this. It helps cut the cost which is a huge advantage. So if one family books the party room and pays the first half of the deposit and the other family pays the other half of the party cost at the end of the party its a win – win. But keep the following in mind:
If you book a joint party – the largest sibling family is not counted towards the total guest cost but the other birthday family is counted. For example: Birthday Girl – Suzy & Birthday Boy – Rob are having a joint party. Suzy has 2 parents, 2 siblings and Rob’s family has only 2 parents and is the only child. So Suzy’s family being the largest will NOT count towards the 40 person guests count. Rob’s family being the smallest will count towards the 40 person guest count.
Regardless if you are having a joint party – the 40 guest count rule still applies. It is NOT 40 guests per family. It’s the standard rule, over 40 guests, $10 extra per person and see below on the maximum guest capacity per room.
Some other key points to keep in mind:
#1. If your guests arrive without socks to wear we have socks and they are $2.00 per pair. A total will be tallied and added to your remaining balance at the end of your party.
#2. If your guests bring extra people to your party you will be charge $10 per additional guest over the 40 person guest count allotted. The total guest count will be tallied as they arrive and added to your remaining balance at the end of your party if needed.
#3. For every child you invite as a guest to your party you MUST invite at least 1 of their legal guardians to watch them. You cannot invite for example 20 children and the parents just pick them up at the end of your party. We Play Loud is not a day care and all children need to be attended by at least 1 of their legal guardians. For example, Suzie & Billy Smith are friends of the birthday child. You want to invite them both to the party as your guests; then you must invite either their mom or dad (1 legal guardian) to attend the party with them. So if you invite the 2 children & 1 legal guardian that equals = 3 guests towards your guest count. If there are 3 kids in the family you want to invite again they only need 1 legal guardian to watch & attend.
The MAXIMUM capacity of guests you can have booked for 1 birthday party room is 55 total guests. If you have 56 or more guests you will be REQUIRED to book the other birthday party room (another $450.00/weekend (Fri-Sun) & $425.00/weekday (Mon-Thurs) for 2 hours). This is due to the occupancy capacity. If you have 56 guests or more and do not book the additional room for the day of your party and the additional birthday room is not available because someone else booked that room – your party WILL BE CANCELLED. Occupancy rules are strictly followed! If you have 56 or more guest you will be required to book both rooms at the same time. There is no discounts for booking 2 rooms at once. Also if more than 55 guests arrive and you only booked one room they CAN NOT purchase general entry tickets as a work around! This is because those patrons will still go into the birthday room and this will go over capacity. If you try to do this with your guests and go around We Play Loud’s rules/policy your party will be cancelled and you and all your guests will be asked to leave immediately. Do not create an awkward and embarrassing situation – please follow these rules. We take our permit/license very seriously and we are not bending these rules for any party regardless of size, client, booking 2 rooms, a private event, etc. The rules apply to everyone!
#4. No alcohol is permitted in the facility. No wine, no champagne, no beer, no liquor etc. Smoking & vapor cigarettes are NOT permitted. If you or any of your guest smoke – they must do so 150 feet away from the main entry of our building.
#5. No pets are allowed in the facility; unless they are special tagged dogs for handicap and adults with special needs.
#6. If you guests do not respect the rules of our facility they will be asked to leave. THEY WILL ONLY BE WARNED ONCE! We take the safety of the children that visit our facility very seriously and special care of the equipment for the children to enjoy. Guests that you invite that do not follow our facility rules will be asked to leave.
#7. The deposit you made to hold your room, as indicated before you purchased, is NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE. If you call to cancel NO REFUNDS will be granted. We will of course move your party to another date for you; as long as the room and time is still open and not taken by another customer; HOWEVER a NEW DEPOSIT will have to be placed. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Please understand when you book your party date and time it prevents another patron from booking that room and time. If you change the date and time; it means our business loses that revenue for that time slot and from another patron having their birthday party at We Play Loud. Refunds will not be granted under any circumstances whatsoever.
#8. When you arrive for your party, your party host will ask for your credit card to be left at the front desk with our manager. This way when your party is over, you will meet with our manager at the front desk to pay your remaining balance owed on your party.
#9. Food & Beverage are ONLY to be consumed in the Birthday Party Room(s). You and your guests should not be consuming food in the play area of our facility.
#10. You & your guests can go in and out of your birthday party room during your 2 hour party as much as you like. Many parents have the kids eat the food/cake during the last hour of their party. Kids typically eat and then want to go right back out to the facility to play. It’s your 2 hour party – so enjoy any way you like. We don’t lock you in the room the last hour of your party and say “now it’s time to eat” and after make you leave. Patrons like the fact that you can go in and out and your party host will structure you’re eating procedure any way you like. Some parents like it buffet style while others like a structured sit down. Just let your party host know and they will be more than happy to help.
#11. All outside vendors (other than food vendors) brought in to our facility MUST be approved first. Email: email@example.com letting us know what type of vendors you would like to bring in:
Balloon Artists – are okay as long as they make the balloons in the birthday party room only. They also count as a guest towards your guest count.
Face Painters/Caricature Artists – are okay as long as they are done in the birthday party room and only use washable paint. They also count as a guests towards your guest count.
Hair Stylist/Nail Manicurists – they are NOT permitted for a birthday party. The chemicals are damaging to equipment and not up to health code for our facility. These vendors will not be approved.
Costume Characters – (Ex: Mickey Mouse, Ariel the Mermaid, etc.) are okay as long as they respect the rules of our facility and they count as a guest towards your guest count. Keep in mind you may want them to stay nearer to your birthday party room in the play area; since our facility is always open to the public.
Piñatas – are NOT allowed.
Food Trucks – food trucks are NOT permitted for a birthday party. We do not want children and adults going in and out the facility for food. These types of vendors will not be approved.
You do not need to get our approval for food vendors who deliver food to our facility for your birthday party. For example, you can order pizzas and catering from outside vendors and have them deliver to our facility directly during the time frame of your party (our address: 24350 Swartz Dr. Lake Forest, CA 92630). DO NOT have them deliver food earlier. For example if your party is from 1pm – 3pm they should be delivering your food no earlier than 1pm. Outside food trucks for birthday parties are NOT permitted at our facility. The kind where they park outside and they make the food outside and you bring the food back in to the facility. Burger & taco trucks are not permitted. Having children and adults going in & out of the building is simply unsafe for the children and not allowed.
#12. Many patrons tip anywhere from 10 – 20%. If you visit a restaurant with over 8 guests you’re automatically charged 20% in gratuity. If you feel you got great service and your party host serviced over 40 guests better than a waiter/waitress then feel free to show them some love. 100% of your tip goes to your party host; you can pay them directly in cash or have the tip added to the remaining balance of your party on your credit card. They bring all your items in from your car, serve your guests 1 by 1, round up your guests, constantly clean, clean up your party and bring all your items back to your car at the end; it’s a true turnkey service so you as the party mom/dad can actually enjoy your party with your guests. They are the conductor of your party. A minimum of 10% gratuity ($45.00) will be added to your final bill; again you can always add more if you wish to tip 15 – 20% as the majority of our customers often do. When you check out at the end of your party; the day manager will check you out and go over all of this with you.
Please keep in mind your party is 2 hours in length, 10 – 15 minutes prior to your event being finished your party host will inform you and start cleaning up the room. Your guests will be notified that their 2 hours is done and if they wish to continue to stay in our facility and play they will have to go to the front desk and pay for a new admission ticket. Now, mom, dad, birthday child, siblings & grandparents can stay as long as they like past the end of the party. However, guests if they wish to stay longer than the length of your party will have to come to the front reception desk to purchase open play tickets (guests do not get to stay all day after your party ends). Many times there are parties scheduled back to back, this is why we need each event and booking to respect the rules for one another. If your entire party takes longer than 15 minutes to exit the party room after the end of your party and the facility – you will be billed an additional $225.00. Our computer system does this automatically! So please respect these rules and again your party host will make you well aware of this.
If you feel that 2 hours is not enough for your event. Please feel free to book an additional 1 hour of play at our facility for $225.00. [We do NOT have an additional 30 minutes of play option at this time.] This MUST be booked at a minimum of 2 days in advance of your party date. If you think you need more than 2 hours for your birthday party you will want to book this additional 60 minutes of PLAY TIME ONLY. You DO NOT get access to the birthday party room during this additional hour. If you are looking to get the party room for an additional hour then you would have book the next time slot in the same room. Ex: if you booked a 10 – 12 party in the Kali Rm & want another hour in the party room you would book the 1pm – 3pm time slot in the Kali Rm. So your party would actually be from 10am – 2pm (4 hours) and you would get the party room for 4 hours. The only way to get the party room for longer than 2 hours of standard party is to book the next time slot as well. If you are having a large double room party (both rooms due to capacity) & want the additional hr you have to book an additional hr for each party room. *This product is NON REFUNDABLE at any time or regardless of reason. It is non-transferable You cannot cancel on the day of your party.There are no 30 minute additional play options available.
If you book an additional hour of play for the 10am – 12pm party time slot; your party then runs from 10am – 1pm. If you buy the additional hour for the 1pm – 3pm time slot; your party then runs from 1pm – 4pm. Now if you want to purchase an additional hour of play for your 4pm – 6pm birthday party time slot it works a little different. Because we close at 6pm, to book an additional hour of play for this time slot would mean your party would start from 3pm and end at 6pm. So the additional hour actually starts at the beginning of your party. Based on the decorations you bring and how elaborate a setup it can take anywhere from 15 – 30 minutes to set up. When you book your birthday party through our online system the “Additional Hour of Play” choice will be given to you at the end of the booking; it’s considered an add on item to your event. So go through the steps by selecting the date, room and time slot you want and at the very end you will see additional items you can purchase like pizzas, balloons, etc. In this area you will see the item choice for the “Additional Hour of Play”.
After hour rates apply at a cost of $500 per 30 minutes; because our facility normally closes at 6pm. Again if your party and guests have not vacated the party room and leave the facility by 6:15pm; you will be automatically charged by our computer system an additional $500. Again your party host will notify you 15 minutes before your party time is over to make sure everyone is on the same page and to get your stuff ready.
Final payment of your birthday party will be made at the end of your party. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express. We also accept Cash as final payment. We DO NOT accept personal or business checks or money orders.
